2. Global Telecommunications Client

Results

Since 2019, Green Standards has partnered with one of the largest telecommunication companies in the world. Our work with them includes the sustainable decommissioning of 1.2M feet and 2,800 employees’ worth of furnishings in Georgia alone. Green Standards’ program approach helped multiple buildings at their corporate headquarters campus and regional properties, reduce furniture waste across the country.

Our projects together have diverted more than 2,000 tons of surplus FF&E from landfills throughout the Peach state. Working with our expansive charitable network in Georgia, this client was able to make in-kind donations of nearly $500,000 to 62 non-profits in the region.

3. AMN Healthcare

Results

In transitioning to a workplace that accommodates fewer team members in our offices, they have taken a minimal-waste approach to office decommissioning. AMN Healthcare partners with Green Standards to ensure a better decommissioning outcome towards a more circular workplace. Green Standards uses charitable donation, resale, and recycling to keep workplace furniture and equipment out of landfills, while generating positive local community impact.

In 2023, with Green Standards’ help, AMN Healthcare was able to divert 95.8% —or 343 tons—of its office decommissioning waste from landfills, equivalent to 1,207 tons of avoided emissions. Together we made in-kind donations worth over $150,000 to support 26 non-profits and community organizations.

Since 2021, our partnership with AMN Healthcare has kept 849 tons of waste from ending up in a landfill. That’s equivalent to 2,930 tons of avoided emissions, or equal to offsetting electricity use from 404 homes for one year.
