The marketing and partner communications described above do not apply to information collected through our SMS text messaging program. Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent are handled only as described in the “SMS Text Messaging” section below.
SMS Text Messaging
Green Standards employees use text messaging to communicate one-to-one with vendors, contractors, and business partners about project logistics, scheduling, pickups, and job updates. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
How consent is collected. You may consent to receive text messages from Green Standards by providing your mobile phone number and agreeing to communicate with us by text during the course of a business relationship, including verbally, by email, through vendor onboarding, or through contract documents. Consent is not a condition of doing business with Green Standards.
How we use SMS information. We use your mobile phone number and message content only to communicate with you about your business relationship with Green Standards, to respond to your requests, and to maintain records of those communications.
No sharing of mobile information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. This excludes service providers that help us deliver text messages (such as our telecommunications and messaging platform providers), which may process this information solely to provide that service.
Message frequency and costs. Message frequency varies based on project activity. Message and data rates may apply.
Opting out and help. You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP or by otherwise clearly telling us that you no longer wish to receive text messages. We will honor reasonable opt-out requests. You may reply START to resubscribe or HELP for assistance, or contact us at info@greenstandards.com.
