Over the holidays, Skunk Works Robotics 1983 Team received donated furniture and whiteboards facilitated by Green Standards through our partnership with Wells Fargo.
Skunk Works Robotics is a high school 4-H team located in Seattle, Washington. Skunk Works was in need of new furniture to improve their space for students and teachers alike. Green Standards worked with Skunk Works to facilitate in-kind donations from Wells Fargo so the learning focused non-profit could re-allocate their funding to their students rather than spending it on new furniture.
As an independently organized member of the Highline Robotics Alliance it draws its members from high schools throughout the greater Puget Sound region. Registered as Team 1983 with FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) their name, Skunk Works, is inspired by Lockheed Martin’s top secret Skunk Works program, where the company designed many famous aircraft such as the SR-71 Blackbird.
