When a Fortune 500 company relocated its Pennsylvania headquarters, it partnered with Green Standards to sustainably decommission 150K square feet of space. Our program redistributed the surplus furniture to 14 local non-profits, including United Cerebral Palsy of Central Pennsylvania and The Arc of Cumberland & Perry Counties.
On this project, Green Standards diverted 100% (195 tons) of office furniture & equipment from landfill while facilitating $57,515 worth of in-kind donations to non-profits in central Pennsylvania.
We were so excited to be receiving this furniture. Without your support we wouldn’t be able to replace furniture that we need. This helps us keep our money going where it belongs, to the participants. Something old for somebody else is brand new for us. Thank you.
